Festival Awards Ltd. welcomes a major new investor to its board in the form of Mondiale Publishing Ltd., producers of international business-to-business publications and awards events that range across the hospitality, entertainment technology and architectural markets.
Mondiale Publishing have purchased a controlling stake in the company. Existing Festival Awards Ltd. directors Steve Jenner, Chris McCormick, James Drury and Justin Madgwick will remain on the new board with Jenner and McCormick continuing to play prominent roles in driving the business forward.
Steve Jenner, co-founder, comments: “Following our sell-out success at The Roundhouse last year, we recognised that the time had come to seek input from an established third party in order to grow the Festival Awards brand to its next milestone. All factors considered, Mondiale Publishing topped the list as our ideal partner, sharing our vision and ambitions for the Festival Awards’ potential.
As well as underpinning the operation with their expertise, infrastructure and financial backing, they also clearly understand the unique market sensitivities on which we have built Festival Awards over the past 8 years. We are extremely happy with this outcome and very excited about plans already underway to take the awards and conference to the next level in the UK, Europe and beyond.”
